Current numbers - Bader: Entrance prices in Sachsen-Anhalt have risen
People in Saxony-Anhalt will have to dig deeper into their pockets for a swim this year compared to 2023. Prices rose by 6.2% in June compared to the previous year, according to the Statistical Office. These higher prices apply to experience-, leisure-, indoor pools or swimming halls. However, prices decreased by 0.3% compared to May 2024.
Recently, a price drop was recorded in the annual comparison in May of the previous year. The figures went down by 0.5%. In addition to pools, there are also monitored bathing waters in Saxony-Anhalt where people can indulge. In total, there are 71 such waters in the federal state, the Office added.
Despite the price increase in swimming facilities in Saxony-Anhalt, the entry price for leisurely bathing fun still varies. Some indoor pools or swimming halls may have a higher entry price due to the increased costs, while others might maintain more affordable rates. Regardless, visitors can still enjoy water activities at the monitored bathing waters in Saxony-Anhalt, which offer a different kind of bathing fun.
