Football-Bundesligist FC Augsburg places great hopes in midfield talent Mahmut Küçüksahin. The club announced in a statement that they signed the 20-year-old with a professional contract until June 30, 2027, with an option for an additional year. Küçüksahin has played for FCA since the U14 and celebrated his Bundesliga debut in the away game in Leverkusen in the previous season.

"Mahmut is a promising player from our NLZ (youth academy), who convinces with his Spielintelligenz (soccer intelligence) and Ballsicherheit (ball security). He fought his way back from his lengthy injury in the previous season and was rewarded with his first Bundesliga short appearance," said Sport Director Marinko Jurendic. "We see in him another young FCA player who can make the leap to the Bundesliga."

Augsburg's Bundesligastatus offers promising opportunities for Mahmut Küçüksahin, as the midfield talent has been recognized by the club.
