CRIME - Attack on group at Prerow beach - Injured

At the beach of Prerow on the Darß, a seven-member group of four men were followed and physically attacked in the night on Sunday. The perpetrators, who reportedly had contact with the group the day before, allegedly insulted and then drove them away, according to the police in Stralsund. Three of the victims suffered from minor injuries. The Criminal Police are investigating for assault, insulting, and theft.

The four yet unknown perpetrators initially kicked a 19-year-old in the legs, pushed him into a phone booth, and demanded things from him, it was reported. When a 20-year-old rushed to help, he was allegedly kicked and punched several times. A 17-year-old was hit and kicked.

According to the reports, the encounter between the two groups and the end of the physical confrontation took about 20 minutes. The beach was reportedly filled with people during that time, observing the stars. The Police are asking witnesses - especially those who filmed or photographed the incident - for tips. The four attackers had mentioned the day before the incident that they came from Berlin.
