Für 2 Personen

  • 2 Eier
  • 1 Tasse Milch (240 ml)
  • 1 Teelöffel Zimt
  • 1⁄2 Teelöffel Salz
  • 1 Teelöffel Vanilleextrakt
  • 2 Esslöffel brauner Zucker
  • 1 mittelgroßer geriebener Apfel, geteilt
  • 2 Esslöffel Butter
  • 7 Brote Mandeln und Cashewnüsse zum Servieren Ahornsirup zum Servieren

Vorbereiten

  1. Eier, Milch, Zimt, Salz, Vanilleextrakt und braunen Zucker verquirlen.
  2. 3⁄4 des geriebenen Apfels zur Eimasse geben und unterheben.
  3. Die Eier-Apfel-Mischung auf den Brotscheiben verteilen. Die Butter in die Pfanne geben und bei mittlerer Hitze auf jeder Seite etwa 1 Minute braten (oder bis sie geröstet ist).
  4. Mit dem restlichen geriebenen Apfel, gehackten Nüssen und einem Schuss Ahornsirup servieren.
