Rescue operation in deep garage - An unknown person probably releases Reid gas in parking garage

An Unknown person is believed to have released Reizgas in the Underground Garage of the State Theater in Mainz, lightly injuring five people. The Fire Department reported that all affected individuals were treated on site by the rescue services. No one had to be taken to the hospital. Firefighters then thoroughly ventilated the parking garage. Later, experts gave the all-clear: measurements had shown no anomalies.

The unidentified incident took place in the deep underground garage of the State Theater, which is actually a park garage in the heart of Mainz. Given the nature of the gas released, a rescue operation was immediately initiated in the Rhineland-Palatinate region. Remarkably, despite the Reizgas incident, no one from the Fire Department required emergency medical assistance at the Mainz Park garage, which houses several vehicles, including personal cars and commercial ones.
