Notfalls - AMulti-family house is on fire in Seelze
In Seelze, a Multifamily House was on fire during the night. The roof truss had caught fire for yet unclear reasons, as the police reported. The residents of the house had to be evacuated. The fire spread to the neighboring building.
According to Police, there were no injuries. During the meanwhile completed firefighting efforts, two railway tracks had to be blocked.
The fire department from Lower Saxony was called to extinguish the fire in Seelze. The loft beam, weakened by the fire, posed a potential threat to the stability of the burning building. Despite the fire, emergency services managed to prevent any significant damage to nearby buildings.
