Six weeks after the disappearance of a homeless man, the Police have arrested a suspect who is alleged to have killed him. However, there is no body found yet, according to the Nordhessen Police Presidium.
The 26-year-old man without a fixed residence has been missing since June 7. His relatives reported him missing after they could no longer make contact. The day after his disappearance, passersby found his phone at a bus stop in Kassel. The efforts of the Nordhessian Police were in vain. They then turned to the public with a public appeal for help. No body found
The police have not found the body of the missing man yet. However, according to the police, "there is a suspicion of a murder and a suspect against a 28-year-old man who was known to the missing man". The suspect had allegedly fled abroad after the disappearance of the homeless man.
He could, however, have been arrested by a special unit in Kassel on the previous Friday, according to the Nordhessen Police Presidium. The suspect was presented to a remand judge over the weekend. The judge ordered pre-trial detention due to the murder allegations against the 28-year-old.
