After the murder indictment in a Shelter in Rostock, a suspect was released from custody. According to previous investigations, the crime could not be proven against the 61-year-old man with the necessary certainty, the Police and Prosecutor's Office stated jointly. Therefore, no arrest warrant was requested against the man.

On Tuesday, a 63-year-old man was found dead with bleeding injuries in his room in a Shelter. According to initial findings, there was a dispute among several residents the evening before. The autopsy to determine the cause of death has already been carried out, according to Police and Prosecutor's Office. The investigations are continuing.

The case of the man found dead in the Shelter in Rostock is now under investigation by the Public Prosecutor's Office. Despite the incident being classified as homicide, the authorities are approaching the situation with caution, given the complexities involved. The Public Prosecutor's Office in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has stressed the importance of gathering all evidence before making any conclusions. The police are actively involved in the investigation, collecting information and interviewing potential witnesses.
