Police - Accident with wrong-way driver on A38 - several people die
Several people have been killed in a serious accident on the Autobahn 38 in Saxony-Anhalt, for which the police initially believe a wrong-way driver was responsible. A spokeswoman for the Halle police was initially unable to say how many people died.
According to the information, two vehicles collided early on Friday morning between Querfurt and Eisleben - one of them was a wrong-way driver according to initial findings. The highway 38 was closed in the direction of Göttingen between Querfurt and Eisleben. The MDR had reported first.
