Investigations into the perpetrator are ongoing - A woman found at Lake Constance

At the Bodensee, a body of a 70-year-old woman was found. The police are treating this case as a crime, according to a spokesperson. A witness discovered the lifeless woman on a waterfront plot between Nonnenhorn (Bavaria) and Kressbronn (Baden-Württemberg) on a Monday evening.

"Investigations into the perpetrator are currently ongoing," the spokesperson said, and therefore made no initial comments. The cause of death is also still unknown. The body of the woman is now to be autopsied.

The woman had previously been reported missing and was last seen on a Sunday. The police had already been searching for her on a Monday.

Extensive investigations are now taking place at the scene of discovery and at the woman's residence. Whether the discovery site is also the crime scene was initially unclear.

The crime scene, if it's the same as the discovery site, is currently under further investigation by the Bavarian and Baden-Württemberg police forces. The determination to solve this criminal case and bring the perpetrator to justice is unwavering. Ms. Woman's connection to the beautiful Bodensee region will undoubtedly be a part of the investigation, given that her body was found in this scenic location.
