Two and a half hours have been spent by response teams in Elterlein (Erzgebirgskreis) searching for a small boy who suddenly disappeared after playing with his family. The parents had only taken their eyes off the Two-year-old for a short time on a Wednesday evening, but had remained on the property, the police reported. Response teams from the fire department, police, and a search dog unit were called in to search for the boy - and found him, safe and asleep, in a tractor on the family's property.
The police commended the quick response of the emergency services, praising the coordination between the fire department and their operative units in Saxony. Upon being notified about the situation, the fire department immediately dispatched additional resources to assist in the search.
