At a traffic accident in the Landkreis Bernkastel-Wittlich, a 36-year-old man lost his life. According to the Wittlich Police Station, the man was on his Pedelec on Friday on the L60 from Großlittgen to Schladt. For unknown reasons, he veered off the road and was flung over the safety barrier into a steeply sloping wooded area. The rescue services deployed a helicopter with a doctor, among other things. However, the man was unable to survive his severe injuries at the scene.
The accident occurred in the Bernkastel-Wittlich District, specifically in the Rhineland-Palatinate region. The unfortunate incident took place on the L60 road between Großlittgen and Schladt. Despite the rapid response of the rescue services, including a helicopter, the man involved in the traffic accident on his Pedelec unfortunately did not survive his severe injuries.
