Dangerous Quarrel - A man was murdered in front of the Club - The prosecution demands 12 years of prison

According to the prosecutor's will, the defendant is to be sentenced to a twelve-year prison term due to fatal stab wounds inflicted on a man outside a Würzburg disco. In their closing argument, the prosecution considered the September incident a manslaughter.

At the start of the trial in early June, the defendant admitted to the attack and expressed regret for the 28-year-old victim's death. However, his lawyer stated before the Würzburg Court that the defendant acted in self-defense. In his closing statement, Senior Public Prosecutor Thorsten Seebach disagreed, stating that he did not see a self-defense situation.

Two other men were seriously injured in the attack. The defendant, according to the prosecution, was drunk at the time and verbally harassed several women outside the disco. When a man tried to intervene, the 23-year-old defendant reportedly became aggressive and unreasonable. A bouncer allegedly hit the defendant several times.

The later victim reportedly tried to intervene in the situation, but ended up physically engaging with the defendant. The defendant is said to have stabbed the 28-year-old with a knife during the altercation.

The defense and the plaintiff's representatives are scheduled to plead today. The date of the verdict is still unknown.
