A man suddenly goes under in the Steißlinger See while bathing. Lifeguards of the DLRG can still pull him to shore. But the revival measures fail.

A man drowned in the Steißlinger See in Konstanz district. The 73-year-old man went underwater for unknown reasons, according to the police. Divers of the DLRG were able to retrieve the man from the water and bring him to shore. Under the guidance of a doctor, the divers provided first aid. However, the man died at the scene on Thursday.

In response to the incident, the local DLRG chapter in Konstanz district launched an investigation into the drowning. Unfortunately, despite the timely response and efforts by the DLRG divers, the 73-year-old man from Baden-Württemberg District suffered fatal accidents underwater and passed away at the scene. Following the incident, the authorities in the district recognized the importance of promoting water safety awareness to prevent similar accidents in the future.
