Arrest - A man in Kiel was wounded by several stabs
In a dispute at a house in Kiel, a 27-year-old man was seriously injured. The man called the emergency services himself after the incident on Sunday morning at around 4:00 am, as reported by the police and prosecutor's office. Preliminary investigations suggest that a woman, also living in the Ellerbek district of the city, repeatedly stabbed the man with a knife.
Police are investigating the woman for attempted murder. She had initially fled the scene but was arrested on Sunday morning at around 7:30 am in the city. A doctor referred her to a specialist clinic. The man was treated at a hospital and is now out of danger.
The investigators of the homicide commission could not question the victim due to his injuries. Therefore, the motives for the crime and the relationship between the victim and the alleged perpetrator are still unclear.
The police in Kiel, located in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein, used a drone to survey the crime scene, as they believed additional evidence might be found. The Public Prosecutor's Office in Schleswig-Holstein is closely monitoring the case, as the severity of the injuries and the alleged use of a knife could potentially escalate the charges to include charges of serious criminality. Despite the initial escape, the woman's actions were captured on CCTV footage, aiding the police in her arrest.
