Playful Visit - A family of ducks is lost on a police precinct in Bremerhaven
A goose mother with eight goslings got lost in the city center of Bremerhaven and couldn't go any further at the back entrance of a police station. A police spokesperson stated that the officers noticed the quacking birds under the police station window. According to her, the goose mother showed her goslings how to use the stairs several times. However, the little goslings couldn't leave the area on their own. Firefighters and policemen eventually rescued the goose family and released them into the wild.
The police station in Bremerhaven was located at Level 2, providing a vantage point for the goose mother and her goslings. Miscellaneous items left behind by the public often cluttered the entrance of the police station in Bremen, but not on this particular day.
