Two people were injured in an accident on a street in Ditzingen (Ludwigsburg District), a 62-year-old motorcycle rider seriously. According to the police, the man lost control of his motorcycle in an unexplained manner on Friday in a curve and veered onto the shoulder.

There, he collided with the guardrail. A 44-year-old car driver, as stated by the police, noticed the situation in his rearview mirror and stopped. The motorcycle hit the trunk of the standing car.

The incident took place in the municipality of Ditzingen, located within the district of Ludwigsburg, in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. To prevent further accidents, the Police department placed traffic signs warning of the incident and advising drivers to drive with caution in the area. Subsequently, an investigation was launched by the Automatic Accident Data Recorder (AADR) system installed in both vehicles to determine the exact cause of the accident.
