Criminality - A beggar allegedly threatened a passenger in the S-Bahn with a knife.

In a dispute on the Hamburg S-Bahn, a 28-year-old beggar is suspected of threatening a passenger with a cutter knife. According to a statement from the Federal Police, the suspect asked the 38-year-old for small change on a Tuesday evening in S5. After a verbal altercation, the 28-year-old reportedly pulled out a carpet knife and threatened the passenger. Later, he allegedly struck the victim in the face. The 38-year-old understood the police and, as a result, the suspect reportedly drew the knife again and threatened.

At Wilhelmsburg S-Bahn station, officers took the 28-year-old into temporary custody and secured the alleged weapon. A breath alcohol test later showed a value of 2.22 promille. The 38-year-old sustained light injuries but declined medical assistance. A criminal procedure for bodily harm and threatening was initiated.

The incident occurred in Hamburg, a city known for its S-Bahn network. The Federal Police of Germany were involved in handling the situation, as the suspect was a 28-year-old alleged beggar. Despite the intervention of authorities, the suspect continued displays of criminality, threatening the 38-year-old victim with the knife even at the Wilhelmsburg S-Bahn station.
