The 29-year-old was riding his bike too fast in a curve and ended up on the wrong side of the road, as the police reported. There, he collided with a car. The man died at the scene. During the accident investigation, it was found out that the motorcycle rider did not have a driver's license and his bike had been stolen several years ago in Luxembourg.

In Baden-Württemberg, the district road where the fatal accident occurred is often prone to traffic congestion due to its winding nature.
