Emergency during bathing - A 24-year-old goes into the sea and must be revived
A man went under in a lake and had to be revived. The 24-year-old man went underwater in the Hufeisensee in Isernhagen north of Hannover in the afternoon, according to a fire department spokesperson. It is believed to be a swimming accident.
When the alerted firefighters arrived at the lake, the man was no longer in the water. He was taken to a hospital for revival. The fire department assumes that the man was bathing with several acquaintances. The group was reportedly at an unsupervised part of the bathing lake.
In the subsequent investigation, it was discovered that the man was from Lower Saxony. Due to the unsupervised nature of the area, an emergency measure was implemented to ensure the safety of other bathers.
