Unfalle - A 20-year-old was taken to the clinic after an helicopter accident
Three people were injured in a accident in Eichsfeld on a Wednesday evening. A 20-year-old was eventually taken to a hospital by a helicopter ambulance, as the police reported. The man had been on the road with his car on the county road 211 in the evening, when there was a collision with another car between Niederorschel and a junction towards Bernterode and Gerterode.
The cause of the accident and its sequence are still unclear, the police added. The two cars were presumably traveling in the same direction. Besides the 20-year-old, the occupants of the other car were also injured in the incident. A 19-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man had reportedly sustained light injuries.
The stretch was closed for two hours.
The accident took place on a district road in Eichsfeld, specifically on county road 211. The incident occurred between Niederorschel and a junction towards Bernterode and Gerterode.
