A 20-year-old motorcycle rider died in a accident on Bundesstraße 14 in Mittelfranken. According to the current investigation, he was traveling with a group of four other bikers from Lauf an der Pegnitz towards Nürnberg in the evening, the police reported. First responders, guided by the integrated control center, began life-saving measures immediately. The rescue services also fought for his life. However, he had sustained such severe injuries that he died on the spot. An expert was summoned to the investigation at the order of the prosecutor's office to clarify the cause of the accident. The B14 was closed for several hours near the accident scene due to the single-lane closure.
