Asylum - 40 people were removed from Munich airport

From Munich Airport, 40 people were deported on a charter plane to Tirana, Albania, and Chisinau, Moldova, on a Wednesday. "On board the plane were 25 people under Bavarian responsibility, among whom nine had been legally convicted," the Bavarian Office for Asylum and Repatriation announced. The convictions encompassed offenses such as sexual coercion with violence, grievous bodily harm, assault, robbery with weapons, smuggling, and theft.

The individuals from Upper Bavaria, specifically Munich, played a significant role in the operation. The charter machine, used for the deportation, departed from Munich Airport. Some of the refugees were reportedly from Albania, seeking asylum. The remaining 15 individuals on the charter plane were responsible entities from various countries, including Moldova's capital, Chisinau. The Munich Airport has been a common departure point for individuals seeking refuge or returning to their countries.
