District Konstanz - 300,000 Euro damage after house fire

At a building fire in Tengen (District Konstanz), a damage of approximately 300,000 Euro has occurred. The fire broke out in the ground floor on Thursday evening, a police spokesperson stated. A 55-year-old man reported a fire in his apartment building via the emergency call.

The fire department prevented the flames from spreading to other buildings further. The single-family house with an apartment annex was initially only partially habitable. The Police are investigating the cause of the fire.

The fire incident occurred in the District of Constance, specifically in Tengen. The police are investigating whether the building fire in Baden-Württemberg was an accident or not, as reported by a 55-year-old man residing in the affected apartment building. Despite the efforts of the fire department, the single-family house with an apartment annex sustained significant damage, estimated to be around 300,000 Euros.
