Criminality - 18-year-old heavily injured with knife

Rodgau (dpe/lhe) – An 18-year-old was severely wounded with a knife in the Rodgau city district of Nieder-Roden (Landkreis Offenbach). The Police are searching for the suspect. According to the Darmstadt Prosecutor's Office and the Südosthessen Police Presidium, the teenager was seriously stabbed in the neck during a fight between two groups in the early hours of Saturday night and was taken to the hospital.

The suspect is described as a 21-year-old man. He reportedly made threatening gestures towards two other 18-year-olds but missed them. The search for him was initially unsuccessful, according to the statement. The investigation continued.

The Prosecutor's Office and the responsible Criminal Police are investigating for attempted murder and the background of the incident. The Police are looking for witnesses.
