169 students reach an average grade of 1.0

Over 100 female and male students achieved an average grade of 1.0 in the Abitur in MV. Some also performed well in the exams for the Intermediate Graduation.

169 girls and boys in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern passed their annual Abitur exam with an average grade of 1.0. They will receive a certificate from Education Minister Simone Oldenburg (Left Party), as the ministry announced in Schwerin. Approximately 4,800 girls and boys reportedly passed the exams. The ministry did not initially disclose how many students failed.

Approximately 5,300 girls and boys passed the exam for the Intermediate Certificate in the northeast, 27 of whom achieved a grade of 1.0. On Friday, over 160,000 children and adolescents begin their summer holidays. For the approximately 34,800 vocational students, the holidays have already started at the beginning of the week. School resumes on September 2.

For some, the last school day may be disappointing if their grades did not meet their expectations. Therefore, the ministry offers a statewide report card hotline.

After achieving their Intermediate Certificate, students in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern can look forward to receiving their certificates from Education Minister Simone Oldenburg in Schwerin, similar to the Abitur students. Despite the summer holidays commencing for many students, the vocational students in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern have already begun their breaks, with the school resuming on September 2.
