Sports Promotion - 15 Athletes and Athletes from Rhineland-Palatinate at the Olympics
15 Athletes and Athletes from Rhineland-Palatinate will participate in twelve different disciplines at the Olympic Games. The funds for top-level sports promotion have been steadily increased in recent years to further develop the conditions for performance sports. In the current Olympic cycle 2021-2024, there are ten certified State Performance Centers and 67 State Support Centers for various sports and disciplines in Rhineland-Palatinate, reported Ebling. These structures form the backbone for the preparation of the athletes and athletes for international competitions.
Besides the infrastructure, qualified trainers and trainers played a decisive role.
