Football-Test-Match - 14:1 - Company sees quite a few goals in Bayern debut

Vincent Kompany enjoyed more than a dozen goals in his first game as trainer of FC Bayern Munchen. The German football record champions won with a score of 14:1 (7:1) against FC Rottach-Egern from the Kreisklasse during their training camp at Tegernsee. However, it was not as impressive as last year when it was 27:0 (18:0).

Goals in the Comeback

Before half-time, Mathys Tel (3), Adin Licina (2), Noussair Mazraoui, and Raphaël Guerreiro scored for the team after coming back from a sprain injury. Tobias Schlichtner scored the much-celebrated 1:4 for the underdog.

After the break, Kompany, who was particularly vocal from the sidelines during the second half, saw goals from Mudaser Sadat (2), Arijon Ibrahimovic, Nestory Irankunda, Noel Aseko Nkili, and Jonathan Asp Jensen. The home team also scored an own goal.

Absent due to health reasons were Aleksandar Pavlovic and Serge Gnabry, who missed the European Championship.

New Signing

For the first time after the break, Hiroki Ito, who was signed from VfB Stuttgart, played for his new team. Midfielder João Palhinha (FC Fulham) and winger Michael Olise (Crystal Palace) were not present. The FC Bayern paid around 125 million Euros in transfer fees for the trio.

More new signings are in the works, but according to board member Uli Hoeneß, there must also be departures. Hoeneß watched the clear victory in the evening sun and chatted with Sporting Director Max Eberl and Sporting Consultant Christoph Freund.

Next Game on Sunday

The FC Bayern's training camp at Tegernsee comes to an end. The next game is on Sunday (3:30 PM) against 1. FC Düren. The first high-profile test takes place during the South Korea tour on August 3 against Tottenham Hotspur. The EM participants, including captain Manuel Neuer, will join the team from July 31 onwards. Kompany will experience his team for the first time in an official match on August 16 in the DFB-Pokal against second-league newcomer SSV Ulm.

  1. Despite Vincent Kompany's impressive debut as trainer with FC Bayern Munich, their performance during test games in Bavaria falls short of last year's 27-0 victory against FC Rottach-Egern.
  2. Raphaël Guerreiro, a star player for FC Bayern Munich, scored during the team's training camp game in Munich, where they easily overcame FC Rottach-Egern.
  3. The German powerhouse FC Bayern Munich, along with Vincent Kompany, will face 1. FC Düren in their next game, a continuation of their preparations for the upcoming Bundesliga season.
  4. The Munich-based soccer club FC Bayern Munich added Hiroki Ito to their roster after signing him from VfB Stuttgart, strengthening their midfield options before the start of the new season.
  5. Vincent Kompany, along with the FC Bayern Munich stars, will travel to South Korea for their first high-profile test game against Tottenham Hotspur on August 3, marking their international preparations for the upcoming season.
  6. Ahead of their first official match against SSV Ulm in the DFB-Pokal on August 16, Vincent Kompany will get a chance to assess his FC Bayern Munich squad during their training camp in Tegernsee, Germany, where they are currently hosting test games.
