Zelensky cautions against the escalation of Russia's aggressive war.

Russian authorities are working on a plan to disrupt Europe, according to the Ukrainian President. President Volodymyr Zelensky mentioned that Russian President Vladimir Putin is employing outdated tactics such as naval blockades and the kidnapping of children to manipulate them. He continued by calling out Putin's attempt to bully the world, and making everyone fear him.

Zelensky expressed his gratitude to France for the assistance they provided and pledged to offer. The day before, French President Emmanuel Macron had announced that they would gift Ukraine with unspecified numbers of Mirage 2000-5 fighter jets and train pilots to fly them.

Zelensky emphasized the necessity for ongoing support and solidarity. "We simply need: not to be left alone," he stated. He stressed the need for efficient, sufficient, and lasting support to help Ukraine in its struggle. Zelensky further expressed that the Mirage 2000-5 jets flown by Ukrainian pilots would demonstrate Europe's strength in the face of the impending threat.

Zelensky noted that Ukraine plays a vital part in European security, and he also expressed optimism about an upcoming peace conference in Switzerland. He noted that it could potentially bring a just resolution to the ongoing war.

Zelensky revealed his intention to seal additional deals with the French Defense Minister, Sebastien Lecornu, after the conference. France had previously promised to provide Ukraine with 650 million euros in loans and donations for the reconstruction of their nation's infrastructure. Additionally, the Franco-German defense company KNDS plans to establish a branch in Ukraine.

Zelensky received an invitation to see American President Joe Biden later in the day. Macron is set to meet with Zelensky at the Elysee Palace at 5:30 p.m. Furthermore, Zelensky will attend the 80th anniversary of the Allied landing in Normandy on Thursday.
