Zeitfracht wants to sell its stake in Adler Modemärkte

The Adler fashion chain is facing another change of ownership. The logistics group Zeitfracht wants to sell its stake in Adler Modemärkte GmbH. The company is "in advanced sales negotiations with several potential buyers", Zeitfracht announced on Thursday evening in Kleinmachnow near Berlin.

Logistics Group - Zeitfracht wants to sell its stake in Adler Modemärkte

The Zeitfracht-Group took over the fashion retail chain in 2021 out of insolvency. Adler, according to its own statements, operates over 130 stores in Germany and the German-speaking countries.

In 2023, Adler Modemärkte with headquarters in Haibach achieved a turnover of 296.7 million Euro, an increase of 11.9% compared to the previous year. The operating result before interest and taxes (Ebit) improved from minus 14.7 million to plus 0.5 million Euro, and the gross profit increased by 11.9% to 158.4 million Euro.

According to the company's statements, the turnover increased by two percent in the first quarter of this year. The gross profit was around six percent higher than the previous year's value. The company grew "continuously against the market trend" according to the 1948 founded company in April.
