- Youngsters hitting each other with hammers and stones
A brawl broke out at the public swimming pool in Donauwörth (Donau-Ries district), where several children and teenagers fought each other. They also attacked each other with a hammer and a stone. Three participants were lightly injured on Tuesday, according to police. Additionally, a bench was damaged.
As the officers reported, a dispute between at least five participants escalated. Several patrol units separated the children and teenagers, aged between 10 and 18. They were banned from the public swimming pool. Furthermore, they will have to answer for bodily injury and property damage.
The total number of participants involved in the brawl is still unclear. It is also part of the investigation to determine who struck the blows and who was only present.
After being banned from the public swimming pool, the teenagers decided to visit an outdoor swimming pool as an alternative. Despite the previous incident, the outdoor swimming pool remained peaceful and enjoyable for other visitors.
