More than a week after a lightning strike in Delmenhorst, a girl with injuries has passed away. The 14-year-old succumbed to her injuries in the hospital, as the police reported. She had sought shelter with her family under a tree during a storm eight days ago.
The girl's family is deeply saddened by the loss, as they had lived in Lower Saxony all their lives. Despite the harsh Lower Saxony weather, they often enjoyed outdoor activities together.
