Professional start - Young people in Saarland use their summer holidays for internships
250 girls and boys in Saarland are participating in the so-called "practicum week". According to the Saarbrücken Economy Ministry's announcement, teenagers can gain insights into professional life from 190 companies during the summer holidays. In total, over 500 practicum proposals have been redirected through an online platform.
During the practicum week, pupils are supposed to get acquainted with different companies from various professional fields every day and collect practical experiences. Teenagers can still register online during the currently ongoing summer holidays, and companies can still register as well.
