A 16- and 18-year-old pair of teens are allegedly the ones who attacked a tram driver in Kassel, Germany. They were identified and nabbed by the cops on Monday, as announced by the Nordhessen Police.
According to various eyewitnesses' accounts, the younger teen walked up to the tram at the "Kirchweg" stop, causing the driver to step out and confront him. The suspect and his buddy then supposedly beat up the driver and eventually held a weapon against him. Thankfully, other passengers in the tram came to the driver's aid.
With the information given by a witness, the two suspects were traced and arrested within an hour. The weapon, later revealed to be a soft air pistol, was also retrieved by the police. The tram driver went to the hospital for a head injury. These teenagers now face charges of aggravated assault and threatening.
