In a crash involving two autos in Unkel, part of Neuwied district, a young boy of 4 years old got hurt. A 22-year-old woman, making a turn onto the B42 from a side street, rammed into a family vehicle carrying three kids, according to the police report. The 4-year-old boy endured injuries in the crash and was transported to a pediatric hospital. His siblings, an 9-month-old girl and a 2-year-old boy, were also taken to the hospital for evaluation. The 22-year-old driver was also harmed. Both vehicles were completely damaged. The road was momentarily shut down.
