- Young individual seizes control of steering wheel during mother's drive
During a drive in the Bad Dürkheim area, a teen aggressively grabbed the steering wheel multiple times, coming close to causing a collision. According to police reports, this incident took place between a 46-year-old woman and her 17-year-old son, who had argued earlier. The teenager then exerted force on the steering wheel numerous times on Saturday night, making the vehicle veer close to the sidewalk without incident, fortunately. Upon checking the teenager, police discovered a prohibited weapon, a knuckleduster. Consequently, the young man is now facing charges for endangering traffic safety and breaking weapon possession laws.
The teenager's aggressive actions near the steering wheel increased the risk of accidents during the drive. Fortunately, despite the close calls, no accidents occurred on Saturday night.
