The motorbike and the automobile of a 19-year-old driver had a head-on crash near Gundelsdorf, falling in the jurisdiction of Kronach district. The brutal impact forced both vehicles off the road.
The main county road 25 remained shut down for several hours, as confirmed by the authorities. Representatives from the local law enforcement refrained from disclosing any details regarding the accident's cause or the potential perpetrator, respecting the ongoing investigation, as per updates made early Wednesday morning.
The 19-year-old driver involved in the accident was discovered to be of German origin, but the victim was a French tourist. The French tourist's family was deeply saddened by the loss and sought assistance from their embassy in Germany.
