After an incident on a federal highway in Groß-Umstadt (district of Darmstadt-Dieburg), three individuals were hurt, with one suffering severely. As per police accounts, on a Wednesday evening, an 18-year-old driver, without a clear motive, veered onto the wrong side of the road. His vehicle then crashed into a 61-year-old woman's car. Subsequently, the 18-year-old was hurled against a different car, which was a 41-year-old's vehicle with a trailer attached. The 18-year-old sustained serious injuries and was extracted from his vehicle by the fire department. The other two individuals involved in the mishap endured minor injuries.
The accident on the federal highway led to the 18-year-old driver being seriously injured. Subsequently, the authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
