- Young adult reportedly assaulted bus conductor in Frankfurt
A twenty-one-year-old fellow is accused of attacking and wounding a bus operator in Frankfurt. The bus operator concluded his route at the Enthaltestelle in the Frankfurt district of Rödelheim on a Saturday evening. Despite this, the twenty-one-year-old refused to get off the bus. When the driver asked him to depart, he allegedly smashed the partition separating the driver's cabin with a wooden plank, causing it to shatter and result in minor injuries to the driver from shards of glass, as stated in police reports.
Continuing his aggressive behavior, the twenty-one-year-old reportedly threatened and insulted the bus driver. Fortunately, bystanders and other passengers were able to subdue the suspect until the law enforcement arrived. He was cuffed and is now set to face charges of suspected infliction of serious bodily harm, threats, insults, and property damage.
The bus operator's bus incident occurred in the Frankfurt district of Roedenheim, which is part of the German state of Hessen. Upon being arrested, the suspect will be prosecuted in Hessen's courts for his alleged crimes.
