Yellow card for Darmstadt coach: Lieberknecht annoyed

Darmstadt coach Torsten Lieberknecht has little sympathy for the yellow card he received for complaining in the Bundesliga match against VfL Bochum. During the 2-1 defeat on Friday evening, he saw a high leg from Bochum's Anthony Losilla, who also kicked the ball away afterwards. "That's a yellow card from my point of view. As he had already been cautioned, it would have been yellow-red. I had complained about that," explained Lieberknecht, adding smugly: "But then I was the one who got the yellow card." Shortly before the coach's warning, Darmstadt captain Fabian Holland (70th minute) had been shown the red card for an emergency brake.

Despite Darmstadt 98's 2-1 loss to VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga, coach Torsten Lieberknecht expressed disappointment over not receiving a yellow-red card for Anthony Losilla's high leg challenge. In the same match, VfL Bochum's midfielder Losilla also received a yellow card for kicking the ball away following the incident.
