Yellow card for coach: Lieberknecht reacts angrily

Darmstadt coach Torsten Lieberknecht has little sympathy for the yellow card he received for complaining in the Bundesliga match against VfL Bochum. During the 2-1 defeat on Friday evening, he saw a high leg from Bochum's Anthony Losilla, who also kicked the ball away afterwards. "That's a yellow card from my point of view. As he had already been cautioned, it would have been yellow-red. I had complained about that," explained Lieberknecht, adding smugly: "But the one who got yellow was me." Shortly before the coach's warning, Darmstadt captain Fabian Holland (70th minute) had been shown the red card for an emergency brake.

In the end, Darmstadt 98's coach, Torsten Lieberknecht, expressed discontent over a potential yellow-red card for Bochum's Anthony Losilla due to a high leg challenge and ball kicking away. Despite receiving a yellow card himself for protesting, Lieberknecht's team, Darmstadt, still suffered a 2-1 defeat against VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga.
