- Würzburg welcomes relocated Jackson, hailing from Tübingen.
Würzburg has secured the services of ex-Tübingen player Jhivvan Jackson. The lower Franconia-based Bundesliga side revealed that the 26-year-old point guard will be joining them from Osos de Manati in Puerto Rico.
He finished second in his native land last week. Prior to this, he spent a season with the relegation-threatened Tigers Tübingen, accumulating an average of 18.4 points per game, establishing him as one of the league's leading scorers. Jackson is set to join the Würzburg squad towards the end of this week, preceding their trip to Poland for pre-season training.
As Würzburg's manager Kresimir Loncar commented, "We've had a contract with Jhivvan for several months now, and we're thrilled that he chose us. His stint in Puerto Rico went on longer than anticipated. He's a swift point guard and a potent scorer, well-versed in BBL. We're optimistic that he'll further enhance his offensive and defensive skills under our tutelage."
Jhivvan Jackson excelled as a prolific scorer during his time with Tigers Tübingen, averaging 18.4 points per game. Despite his love for basketball, Jackson accepted an opportunity to play in Puerto Rico with Osos de Manati.
