The Top 50 Restaurants Globally - World's Best Restaurant: Barcelona's "Disfrutar" offers Mediterranean fusion dishes.
Realistically superb eats are as basic as they are unusual. Eateries worldwide attempt to entice their clients with novel tastes, mixtures, and dishes each day, creating special moments of happiness. And several eatery visits genuinely are a genuine joy for the taste buds. However, with the rising standard of high-end eateries, making a decision is becoming increasingly harder. This is why there is an award given every year for the "World's 50 best Restaurants".
This year, a Spanish eatery takes first place - "Disfrutar" in Barcelona, co-operated by chefs Oriol Castro, Eduard Xatruch, and Mateu Casañas. According to the jury, they decided for this eatery due to three elements: "The combination of ingenious, technologically advanced dishes, unsurpassed skill, and entertaining presentation creates an unforgettable dining experience packed with unanticipated surprises and memorable moments."
France and Spain in the top rank
Second place in the ranking goes to another Spanish eatery, located in the town of Atxondo, in the Basque Country. "Asador Etxebarri" by chef Victor Arguinzoniz is renowned for its one-of-a-kind cuisine in the midst of the Basque mountain scenery. As per the jury, "This culinary wizardry allows him to transform ordinary ingredients like milk and beef into extraordinary and unforgettable dishes using the assistance of a small fire."
In the French capital, folks are content with third place in the ranking - "Table by Bruno Verjus" in Paris impresses not only due to the culinary skills of Bruno Verjus but also because of one extra feature. The jury comments: "The undeniably warm and welcoming atmosphere is the result of Verjus and his friendly staff who, along with their outstanding wine collection, are ever-ready to chat about suppliers, their wines, and obviously the food."

Tim Raue's popularity in Germany
The finest eatery in the nation is headed by the popular chef Tim Raue. The two-star chef places his Berlin eatery as high as 30th. In comparison: Last year, he ranked 40th. The jury's rationale: "Raue's cuisine is designed to 'give energy to the body, not overburden it.' So, you won't find bread, pasta, rice, refined sugar, milk products, or gluten on the menu." Thus, the chef "is always in tune with the times."
For the ranking, 1080 anonymous experts from the culinary scene cast their votes. From 27 regions, 40 experts are selected, enabling them to cast their votes. Each person has ten votes, the condition being they have dined at the restaurant in the past year. Despite certain eateries that are not permitted to be considered, the independence of the ranking is frequently brought into question. Nevertheless, it is considered one of the most distinguished awards in the industry - and a guideline for choosing the next place to dine.
