Schools - World record attempt: Thousands of silver stars on Michaelis Bridge
Have the girls and boys of Hamburg managed to make almost 20,000 silver stars out of yogurt and pudding cup lids? On Tuesday (1 p.m.), the stars will be hung from fairy lights on the Michaelis Bridge. After that, it will be clear whether the Hanseatic city's schoolchildren have broken an existing world record: 18,800 silver stars are required. Incidentally, they will not be thrown away at the end of the campaign, but sold for recycling. The profits and other donations from companies and private individuals will be donated to the Sternenbrücke children's hospice. Anyone who wants to is also welcome to make stars and hang them up there.
