- Workplace catastrophe occurs during construction project
A mishap took place at a construction site in Offenburg, causing severe harm to a laborer. As reported by the fire department, a construction crane was supposed to shift a 600-kilogram metal structure on the Montessori school's construction site around midday. Unfortunately, the crane unexpectedly tipped over, trapping the man in his waist and lower extremities.
His coworkers allegedly remained remarkably composed and promptly administered first aid. The fire department then maneuvered their salvage crane to raise the metal structure and extricate the approximately 50-year-old worker. He was then attended to by a medical team and transported to the hospital.
The construction site where the incident occurred was heavily secured by workers and officials after the mishap. Following the rescue, the construction project on the Montessori school's construction site was temporarily halted by the site supervisor.
