- Worker trapped in wheel loader - seriously injured
During earthworks, a man operating a skid steer loader slipped into a ditch in Bad Staffelstein (Lichtenfels district) and sustained serious injuries. The 77-year-old became trapped and was later freed by emergency services, police reported. He was taken to hospital on Wednesday.
It is believed that the man lost control of the vehicle while working on a field, as stated by a police spokesperson. No external influence is suspected at this time. Over 50 emergency services personnel were present at the scene.
The accident occurred in the District of Lichtenfels, specifically in Bad Staffelstein. The man was transported to the hospital from this area.
