- Worker perishes following scaffold's tragic collapse
Following the fall of a massive, approximately 40-meter tall scaffold at a construction site in Munich, a laborer sadly succumbed to his injuries. Three additional males were transported to hospitals post-incident, as reported by authorities.
Plans are underway for the retrieval of the deceased worker, pinned beneath the scaffolding, later in the day. Prior to that, the construction site, involving an elevator shaft under construction, necessitates securing.
The unfortunate incident occurred on Thursday afternoon, with five individuals stationed at the site. Regrettably, one of the individuals couldn't evade the hazardous area swiftly and became trapped beneath the scaffolding, leading to his demise. A crisis management team was present to provide aid to several fellow employees who had witnessed the incident. The law enforcement is currently probing the events surrounding the scaffold's collapse.
