Accident - Worker falls from roof and suffers life-threatening injuries
A man fell while working on a roof in Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen (Karlsruhe district) and suffered life-threatening injuries. The 23-year-old was working on a building shell, stepped on the cover of an opening for a skylight that had already been milled out and fell several meters, police said on Wednesday. It remains unclear why the worker fell. He was flown to hospital by rescue helicopter on Tuesday.
