Neuburg-Schrobenhausen - Woman wants to heat apartment with barbecue and is seriously injured

A woman was using a charcoal barbecue in an apartment and suffered life-threatening injuries. Emergency services were called to the apartment building in Neuburg an der Donau (district of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen) on Sunday due to the smell of gas. In the bedroom, they found the grill running and a 42-year-old woman who had fallen unconscious due to the high concentration of CO2. According to a police spokesperson on Monday, the woman wanted to heat up with the barbecue. The 42-year-old woman was taken to a specialist clinic in a critical condition. The six children who were also in the apartment were unharmed.
