- Woman tries to stop her own car and gets run over
A young woman was crushed by her own car and severely injured in the night in the Segeberg district. Initial findings suggest that the 24-year-old was with her 23-year-old companion at the edge of a field in Neversdorf early in the morning. Suddenly, her small car started rolling for an unknown reason, and she tried to stop it with her own body weight. Unfortunately, she failed, got trapped under the vehicle, and was seriously injured.
Rescue services from the volunteer fire department lifted the car and rescued the severely injured woman. Her life was initially in danger, and she was airlifted to the hospital. The companion and relatives from Bad Oldesloe were in shock and received support. Whether the couple was watching meteor showers at the field edge could not be determined by the police.
The rescue team stated, "The following is added: The small car had no mechanical issues that could have caused the accident." Upon arriving at the hospital, the doctors described, "The following is added: She is currently in critical condition, but her condition is stabilizing with intensive care."
